How we quote and bill
We don't publish prices — price floors depend on each project and live in its own quote, never in shareable material. What we do publish is how we quote, so you know what to expect before asking for one.
In short
- We don't publish prices: each project gets its own quote.
- Six models: closed-scope phased project, monthly retainer, hybrid, 50/50 payment per phase, hour bank, and license or product.
- The one we use most is the hybrid: an initial build plus a retainer.
- We quote in the currency your company bills in.
- Code and data stay in your company's name under every model.
| Model | When we use it |
|---|---|
| Closed-scope, phased project | When scope is definable up front and you want a fixed price per phase. |
| Monthly retainer | For continuous work: system evolution, support, and recurring improvements. |
| Hybrid: initial build + retainer | When there's a large build followed by ongoing operation. Our most-used model. |
| 50/50 payment per phase | 50% at the start of a phase, 50% on delivery — lowers risk for both sides. |
| Hour bank | For unpredictable needs that don't fit a fixed scope. |
| License or product | When something we've already built can be adapted and resold instead of built from zero. |

Currency rules
We quote in the currency your company bills in. If you need dual currency, it's shown with a visible reference rate, with an explicit note that final settlement happens at the rate on the day of payment.
What never changes
Code and data stay in your company's name under every model — no perpetual recurring licenses for tools that never fully become yours. Third-party costs are quoted at cost, on a separate line, with no markup and never mixed with engineering work.
Which one fits your project?
Tell us your case and we'll tell you, plainly, which model makes the most sense.
